Meet The Staff

Alyssa is the Office Manager. She is a 2001 graduate from Jennings County High School and a 2016 graduate from Medquest College where she got her certification in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting. She married her high school sweetheart and they live in Butlerville Indiana. Alyssa has 3 kids, two dogs, and a cat named Mr. Kitty. When she is not working Alyssa enjoys spending time with family, teaching spin class, and watching her youngest son run cross country and track.

Jenny is our Front Office Receptionist. She graduated from Columbus North High school. She is married to her husband Brent. Together they have 2 children which has given her 5 grandsons total. She loves the outdoors, walking, and spending time with family. She loves to hide under Dr. Steinmetz's desk and scare her whenever possible.

Megan is a hygienist in our office. She graduated from the IU School of Dentistry. She married her high school sweetheart Michael and they have two wild and wonderful boys, Leland and Landry. Megan always wanted to be a teacher until she shadowed dental hygiene. She immediately fell in love with hygiene and working in pediatrics is the cherry on top! When Megan is not working, she loves eating at chick-fil-a, listening to true crime podcasts, spending time outside with family, and planning their next trip to Disney World.

Krissi is one of our hygienists. She was born and raised in Seymour, Indiana. She obtained her degree from the University of Southern Indiana. Krissi has a husband and two daughters. When not working, Krissi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, crafting, and cuddling up to her two dogs. Krissi enjoys trivia and can spout random facts and song lyrics at the drop of a hat. “Did you know that a narwhal’s “tusk” is actually a tooth?”

Sophia is a dental hygienist in our office. Sophia is from Franklin, Indiana. She received her degree from the University of Southern Indiana.
She has worked in pediatrics her whole hygiene career and loves it. Sophia is married and has a crazy mini goldendoodle named Nova. In her free time, she loves being outside, watching sports with her husband, and finding new places to explore.

Brandy graduated from the IU School Of Dentistry Expanded Functions program and has been working in the dental field for over 30 years. 20 years of that has been in pediatrics. When she is not in the office she enjoys hiking in the woods with her dogs and husband.

Amanda is originally from North Vernon, Indiana. After living in Florida for 10 years she moved back to Indiana in 2017 with her three beautiful children. She went back to college at Ivy Tech Columbus and completed the Dental Assistant program with expanded functions. She is also on the board with her family at the Park Theater in North Vernon. Amanda enjoys being with her kids and watching them with their sports in her free time.

Kamari received her certificate of dental assisting at Indianapolis Dental Assistant School. She is a North Vernon, Indiana native and a graduate of Jennings County High School and Vincennes University. When going to the dentist as a child, Kamari’s goal for each visit was to remain cavity free so she could have her picture posted on the “cavity-free wall” with the other children. In Kamari’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family the most. Kamari also enjoys camping, fishing, kayaking, and swimming on her family’s property which has been in her family for nearly 100 years! Fishing takes up a lot of Kamari’s time on the weekends, as she fishes in many bass tournaments with her boyfriend.
